Hello to everyone on the new forum.Does anyone have experience of the Rotex integrated heating system of gas condensation boiler, solar panels and underfloor heating? It seems to be a very elegant and simple solution but comment from someone who has personal experience of it would be helpful. Also, does anyone know of an idraulico who is familiar with the system who we could contact for a preventivo in the Fermo area of Le Marche. Many thanks

it sounds as though you are only half way to a good heating system.... try to replace the gas boiler with a wood stove and back boiler feeding a heat store, otherwise you will be paying four times as much for heating. Get a wood stove ready heat store which can also accomodate a heat pump then you will be virtually gas free and future proofed.

SagraiasolarHave you heard about the new air/water heat pump for domestic hot water only, from Ariston? Launched at the Solarexpo in Verona this May. Uses only 310W in normal mode, on the 100 ltr tank model, with electric backup if needed. Cost I have been informed is under 1000 Euro + IVA. Cannot put a link to the documentation as only have the details in PDF.
