Every year starting in September, Olivieri 1882 transforms into a sort of Santa’s workshop for the domed Christmas cake that has taken the world by storm. Established 141 years ago, the artisanal family-run bakery in Arzignano, a small town in the Veneto, has become famous for its award-winning panettone, featured everywhere from Italy’s venerated Gambero Rosso and Corriere della Sera to the New York Times and Food & Wine.
