Meeting about healthcare

Submitted by Penny on

Hi,

sorry for the short notice (only just seen the poster) but there is a meeting tonight at 9pm regarding healthcare in this area. It will be attended by the Vice President of the Marche Regon & the Marche Health Assessor. It is a great opportunity to make out complain directly to the top bods themselves.

Channel ferry fare offer

Thought this might be of interest to anyone thinking of driving to Italy before the middle of December.

Norfolkline (now part of DFDS) are offering a special fare on all Dover - Dunquerque sailings up to 15th December this year.  Car plus 4 people each way - low season £25, high season £35.  High season is 22nd July to 5th September and fares are weekdays (Mon-Fri) on all sailings.  Weekend supplement is £10 each way.  Prices include fuel surcharges.

Driving To Italy - Route Finder

Submitted by alan h on

For many years now I have used the likes of 'mappy', 'via michelin' etc for calculating different routes down to Italy - for us its a part of our holiday, so we don't always want to take the quickest/shortest route down.  We prefer to vary the route taken, with different places to stop overnight.

Bing maps seem to have taken over 'multimap' [at least they have on my PC]  Bing has one very useful/easy facility that makes it worthwhile recommending that fellow travellers have a look at it.

Telecomitalia on line - and how to change requirements

This is my second question in as many days, all part of living in this lovey country and how to deal with it!

Can anyone advise me if it is possible to alter our subscriptions (Abbonamenti) on line. we are currently paying for "Voce Senza Limiti" when I believe that it would be more sensible to opt for "Telecom Zero". We would also like to subscribe to "Teleconomy Internazionale" which appears possible to sign up to on-line. I should have mentioned that we receive our bill via the internet.
