a spanish problem

Submitted by adriatica on

i read this report and thought its worth letting others see.. to be honest its only likely to happen in spain because of the scale of the expat numbers..

but you do see it here too in smaller ways .. saw it in devon and suffolk with incomers.. france again with expats.. sometimes its worth reflecting that we all have lots to learn and should take time

anyway its an article from Global Edge

WWII History in Emilia Romagna

Unfortunatley as part of our ruin was lacking foundations we have had to demolish the house to rebuild. Friday 13 May (is there an omen?) we received notification that all work had to be stopped and the site closed as in the rubble the workmen found 4 four WW11 hand grenades.  We are not sure whether they are allied or german/italian grenades and we are waiting for the appropriate people to come and collect/difuse them and to check the site for any further munitions.
