An event not to be missed. The 2nd National Exhibition and Fair for "Presepi" or Nativity sets, is going to be held in Bagni di Lucca as from the 4th of December at the Piazza Circolo dei Forestieri. A traditional event at Christmas time, it started as a local show only because Bagni di Lucca is famous for its Nativity sets; however, they expanded it last year to incorporate pieces coming from other regions in Italy. You can also purchase your own Nativity set. Here is all the information:

We are unsure about moving articles over there as opposed to buying when we get there, but know it will likely cost more to buy over there and be more hassle. So we want to get an idea of the cost of moving some of our stuff out there? It won't be a full move as we will be keeping a place in the UK (albeit smaller). We tried to estimate the volume when getting quotes from Companies, but they all seem to differ. So will say the volume will be around 10-20m3. Anyone like to offer their views or even (dare we say it) give us a quote...

Hi! My youngest daughter, Natalia, helps as a volunteer in Save a Bunny San Francisco. They have at present more than 80 bunnies in the refuge and little or no money. She has just completed a Post Graduate in Fine Arts and she has made a short holiday animation to try to get a prize that will help the association. All what you need to do is to vote for it and spread the word amongst friends and family. It has to be done before the 30th of November and it will be a great thing for the bunnies and the helpers.
