Italian Police(Feel good story)

Here's a story I lifted from another forum I belong to.You think it would happen in the Uk?  Nah I have just returned from a short trip to Italy. My friend picked me and a mate up in a hire car from the airport. Sadly we were tail ended. And there was a four car pile up, two women went off in an ambulance with minor whiplash. My friend was a named driver on the hire policy but did not appear on the rental agreement. He did not have his driving license with him. He had left his passport at our other friends house in the hills. It doesnt really have an address as it is very remote.Traffic cops came, the car impounded, the consolate called and we ended up at the station at 4am!!So we couldnt hire another car, all the hotels were shut and we were desperate to get the 100km home to the house. So here is the kicker....The traffic cop, who was a tired as we were, lent me his own private car to take the other two home on the condition we went back the following day with the passport.UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!The next day, his day off, he took us to the car compound, and sorted everything for us. He even gave me a 2004 police calander as a momento!!!
