We now have a new addition to the family here, a orphaned leveret. It is only about 8 days old now, but seems to be doing quite well and putting on weight. Feeding it a kitten milk mixture. Anyone else had experience of bringing them up??

Wonder if anyone having the same problems:1. You read a post logged in, then refresh and then it tells you that you have x number of unread posts, even though you have read all.

Because it was raining today, thought to do some price comparisons re non Italian B&B's to Italian ones in Marche. I will not name any, but to be honest, you are better staying in Italian establishments.

Hi Sarah & Mark.Website is the company one, and most of the info I receive is from them and not always shown on their site. I am quite happy to put a PDF or word document that may help people in the community with information that I have on file, as we could do on the previous forum. Cannot understand why the facility does not exist now.Anyway, have found one original link at the moment, so will add that to the energy certificate post, still think its faster just to add a file .

They are on my personal computer, so have not got the URL, otherwise I would have used it. Would be easier to just be able to include documents I think, instead of URL's every time.

Think that theres someone up there in the clouds, that decides to "rain on our parade" every Sunday for the last 3 weeks. Hopefully, some of the UK weather that they had for Wimbledon will arrive shortly. If it's going to be on an evening, then do we all bring "mozzie" repellant?

As far as I am aware, then the only way to get any grants about energy saving are having a energy saving certificate, which states that the energy saving from the original habitation is 20%+. This has to be completed by a thermal engineer and logged with the relevant authority. From that point you can start to deduct "up to" 55% of the cost from taxes paid over a period of 5years.In all cases, I think you will find you have to have full residency and pay Italian taxes on income ........ it is only up to 55% of the cost based on the tax you are actually paying. If you have a certified "green energy" new installation in a present house that is classed as "habitale", then you can claim this "up to" 55% against the whole installation, plus double glazing etc to get to the 20% energy saving. This was the latest information that I have, but as with everything else here, things change quite rapidly from month to month.

Presume you mean the cost in the Netherlands CM and not here in Italy. Could you give us an idea of what it costs there as a comparison?

Have eaten there, when we first arrived in Italy. As we were sometimes with a local Geometre, then we never thought about whether there were different prices, as subsequent visits alone always appeared ok. If they are dual-pricing, then that is not going to help them out, unless they just want the locals going. Good idea to name and shame these places and hope they change, although they will never realise unless they are contacted directly.

Initially it may be better to contact Stoves direct by email or telephone, with an explanation of the problem as they may be able to suggest a solution, that you may be able to rectify yourself. Normally the problem here is getting spare parts if they are required and knowing the part number required.
