We now have a new addition to the family here, a orphaned leveret. It is only about 8 days old now, but seems to be doing quite well and putting on weight. Feeding it a kitten milk mixture. Anyone else had experience of bringing them up??

Wonder if anyone having the same problems:1. You read a post logged in, then refresh and then it tells you that you have x number of unread posts, even though you have read all.

Because it was raining today, thought to do some price comparisons re non Italian B&B's to Italian ones in Marche. I will not name any, but to be honest, you are better staying in Italian establishments.

I sincerely hope that the meteo is wrong, but it seems that this weekend we are in for a lot of rain. After all the good recent weather, then this is a major disaster after all the time and effort that has gone into arranging this event.www.ilmeteo.it/meteo/Amandola

As a rough guide and this is based on the reports that we carry out, it is between 3-3.5 Euros + IVA @ 20%, per square metre of the property.

These have been in force in a partial way over a number of years, the first being law 10/91 and then followed by law 192/2005. These basically were applied to new builds or full rebuilds of property and had to be lodged with the local commune. What is happening now is that 192/2005 is coming into basically full force as the time span was to cover a few years. Articles are in English.www.mondaq.com/article.aspwww.rehva.eu/projects/clima2007/SPs/B03L1730.pdf

As Serge says, I do not think you would be able to get anywhere, especially not into the UK, without a passport. The Italian Identity card does say that it is not valid for leaving the country, so a passport should still be carried within the European Union, outside of Italy.

The guy in Amandola is at this address:75 High Street. Up from the post office towards the main square. Last info from when wife had some repairs done to a pair of riding boots. He is open on a Wednesday & Saturday. As far as she can remember, it is only in the morning.Hope this helps.

Your best bet is to get a Nationwide Flexaccount and with that card you can draw money out of the Post Office ATM's. We spoke to our Banca Della Marche branch, and they have said that there are restrictions put on debit cards, but not on credit cards at the ATM's. Perhaps the main banks don't get any commission on debit cards.

Don't know if this is in all Post Offices, but in Amandola they have a ticket system, just like some supermarkets. Seems to work very well, as your number is displayed on a board with whichever counter you need to go.
