My husband and I are at odds at present about where to start looking for a property. We both want to be in Tuscany, but can't afford the more expensive areas.
Last year we paid our TV lincence at the post office ( without being asked to I might add) Apparently we should have received some sort of payment booklet and a licence number. We have received neither! All this went out of my mind over the year until I now realise that we should have renewed at the end of January, but I have no idea how to go about it now Any ideas pkleas???

Looks like you've got quite a job on your hands there! Makes me glad that we bought our house (barn) already renovated:-) We live between Sesta Godano and Brugnato, so might pop up sometime and take a peek at Godzillavilla.
Thanks for all your comments. We don't want to use concrete. It is a large area and will look pretty awful done in concrete. Thanks in particular to mbc. Its good to get an opinion from the horses mouth as it were. I think we'll probably try to knock hime down by a couple of k but are happy to use him as we've seen the quality of his work.

I have just been loaned this book but havent started it yet. After all these comments, I am really looking forward to reading it.

We live here permanently. Sold up in the Uk and retired here, so we're around most of the time.
