Rent (long term) in Umbria

05/14/2013 - 16:57

For anybody (or anybody you know!) who wants to experiment with living in Italy before taking the plunge of buying something, a friend of mine has a rather nice ancient tower to rent - 75 square metres on three floors, with as much outside space as you want (making it lovely for dogs and cats). It's in a rural situation, with a muddy gravelled drive of about 300 metres, but beyond that it is less than five minutes on tarmac to a decent sized village and major roads. Fifteen minutes drive to Lake Trasimeno, and 25 minutes to Perugia. Rent would be quite negotiable if the tenants are willing and able to use a ride-on mower and paint the odd window frame in the winter.Send me a PM with your e-mail address and any questions about what the house is like. (Right hand side of the screen, write new message). I'm just about to try to add a pic to my gallery, but can't promise it will work).
