Cantieri Benetti: three new yatchs sold for 70 million euros

Luxury liners sold to foreign buyers - The Benetti shipyard (part of the Azimut Benetti Group) set a record last weekend three yacht launches in three days for a total of 70 million euros in revenue.

The yachts were all sold to foreign buyers. The first to launch was 'The Geanelle' in Viareggio a 45-metre yacht purchased by a disabled American man confined to a wheelchair.

The yacht was designed to permit absolute mobility and offers a most comfortable environment including elevators, electronically controlled masts and automatic doors.

The Benetti shipyard in Livorno saw the launch of 56-metre yacht, 'The Annaeva' once the deal was brokered, the Russian ship owner and his family put the luxury boat to the test as they set sail for Portofino.

The yacht was designed and decorated with utmost attention to detail for example, the flooring on the main ramp was done in Acero and Mogano wood.

The third launch was 'The Mylo' the ninth ship in the Benetti Classic 120 series and was designed specifically for its Libyan owner.
