hi i was looking for some advice regarding a house buld that has went wrong as after it was bulit 3years ago defects started to appear like blocked drainage dampness flaking paint blocked guters etc after chasing builder and archectect, who did nothing ,i have been advised from mym lawyer to take it to a trinbunal wher a judge appoints an indepenedt enginner who decides who and what is to blame my question is that if they decide in my favour and the builder and archectect do not want to fix or pay to get it fixed and i have to go to court can i freeze there assets till it goes to court

P&O have introduced a new ferry on the Dover - Calais route - its called the Spirit of Britain.

They seem to have a special offer on at the moment [on this ship only]

I've just booked a return crossing [car + 2] for £60 - significantly less than they are charging for the other ships in their fleet, so you have to check what its sailing times are

I think the offer may need booking by the end of the month - but the price applied to my sailing in March

So, if you know when you are going this year - its worth checking out

Another old but new law has passed its date of compliance and to be honest its having an effect already

the other day Brunetta, the minister of public administrtaion spent an hour or so telling us all about the new laws that are now active from yesterday regarding how citizens and business will have new and improved access 

its all based around 2 laws one from 2009 DL 150 and a more recent one in 2010 DL 235 both laws are aimed at giving free access to all public administration from local to national via internet
