Does anyone have or know of anyone who has a Fogolar and or has had some renovation / restoration work done on them?
I have an original (I think) fogolar that is in need of some work, including frameowrk, grill, wrought iron repairs and am struggling to source any related information or people who have worked on these before.
Any ideas most appreciated.

We have an Italian dog who is fully vaccinated, microchipped and got his pet passport. Normally, when we go to the Uk we leave him in kennels, but this autumn we intend to go to the UK for some time and are taking him with us. Can anyone help me understand what I have to do to take him across the channel? I have read on the DEFRA site that animals have to be wormed and de ticked before travelling. I regularly put Frontline combo on my dog, so does he need another treatment before travelling? Same for worm tablet? Do I provide the tablets, frontline, or does the vet have to?
Does anyone have any ideas of companys that supply wood burning cookers - the larger the better. It doesnt have to heat water or the house but the residual heat that would in turn heat the kitchen would be good. If you have web sites then that would be a bonus...Many Thanks
Our NOT very old beams and wood-lined roof have little holes in them and wood dust seen below on the floor. The wood is rovere and the woodworm seem to be only, so far, in the lighter bits of wood. How quickly will they spread and do they do so all year round or just in warm weather? How quickly have we got to solve the problem before it gets out of hand? Some of our ceilings are quite high up so going up a ladder to poke syringes into little holes doesn't look like fun. Anyone got any experience of all this?
