Badger, forgotten to add that all posts published in the Community Guide and Usage Support Group can be read by all, since all members are automatically part of the group. I'dd also suggest your to change the title of your post into "new post" to avoid misunderstanding (since you are explaining how to post a message and not proposing a new topic

browsers can have different ways to display forms and other parts of a website. Just take your time to figure out how it works for the browser you're using and you'll finally be able to post and enjoy the best of community tools.  buon anno anche a te, sprostoni

Hi Andy a warm welcome to the community and grazie mille for joining and the New Years wishes The community platform was meant to be a place where to discuss about Italy, comment on travel/culture/food/news articles, post queries and create a network. That's why you can also add a location to your profile, so to help other members to find you and get in touch. This is the link to the Map of User Locations.  Unluckily I've never been to Scotland, but really wish to. Hopefully will get there one day. Where in Italy would you like to live? Have you already been to Italy in the past years? Florence and other many other cities of Italy saw the snow in December ( and are still seeing it in January). Never encountered this problems. Thank to members who answered exactly to what the causes of the problem could be (browser). Anyway it's a bit odd since any browser should allow users to post content, unless the button "post" doesn't appear at all.

Hi Joanna,  this is why the online community was created.. to let expat create a virtual (and real - when possible) community and to let people who want to travel to Italy get as more info they need before they come. Given that you live in Tuscany you may join the Northern Tuscany group. Also, you could create a new group related to your area so to group people coming from the same area...  So, good luck!

Hi and a warm Welcome to the Community, which part of Italy have you visited? Because a moving in a new country involves many aspects, it would be better to ask for specific questions.  Also, I advice you to follow the Patti Chiari series published each week on the website and written by someone who had a similar experience. An example is the story titled The Move to Modica ,  hope it helps, many wishes for the new year!
