Wanted to share with you these photos of last year Presepe Vivente. You could see the Nativity Scene but also old crafts.. It was set in a quarry with lights which enhanced the Christmas atmosphere; I cannot believe it was last year!

I've seen the ad on TV and was attracted by the cast including Sophia Loren and Penelope Cruz (I love actrice Cruz, I've seen her in other italian films such as "Non ti muovere" with Sergio Castellitto). After your review, I don't know if I should go and watch it..  I've heard that it was inspired by a musical in Brodway (which had been inspired by Fellini's "8 1/2"), maybe one should have watched those musicals to catch the sense of this one. happy I helped in some way. I felt concerned by your words of astonishment about the media highlighting words instead of real facts that happen in a country.  That prompted me to start another thread to give my point of view about the difference between people living in Northern Italy and people living in Southern Italy (es. Calabria), from a cultural and social point of view. It would be nice to listen to members' opinion, especially from those who already lived in Italy for a period of time. see you later!

If I'd were you, I would ask for more statistics.  Any website that offers advertising space for accommodation/property owners and other services (as Italymag does with holidays and weddings), should provide a range of statistics which give you a better knowledge  After that, you can judge if it is worth doing it.  I also believe that any advertiser need more tips that could help its listing to reach people. Maybe you should invest a little more time and plan with an expert all the available offers and options to get your  message across. See more examples of advertising campaigns at this page or get in touch with the team.

Hi Poeta,  Calabria has received a great focus recently in the media, but you should see it from a "political" point of view. What happened is currently on debate in the Italian Parliament "immigration in Italy" so media talked about Calabria, as an issue that add more troubles to an already existing situation. Tourists are warmly welcomed. Calabria has a lot to offer and I think that people really appreciate when someone come and visit their land. On the other hand, if I'd were you, I would look for as much info as possible about documents that you should hold with you during your stay (es. patente if you want to drive) so to avoid to get negative surprises during your staying. Don't hesitate to post any other question for more info about living in Italy! To have a clear background of what happened in Rosarno I advice you to read the news reported by Pat Eggleton: http://www.italymag.co.uk/italy/rosarno/rosarno-riots-reopen-immigration...

Hi Antinello, we are working to fix it. We think that the post body functionality is related to browsers. Explorer seems not to display the form correctly.  Meanwhile, people who experience those troubles, should post a message with the subject and then add a comment to their own post so to insert the content. Other members have done like that and it's the best way to post your messages in the community for the moment.
