I thinks that this thread has given the chance to start different topics or groups (I would suggest to create a group facebook style "those who hate Mr B" just to see how many members would join ) I won't spend a word about the other place... which would be again off topic with the reason why Tess started this thread.. re beeryspice, you are welcome to the community, like all members are of course. Thanks for having started a new thread and introduce yourself. It's a great think to learn something more about the members who join this community. All members should make an Introductory thread (and I realize that I haven't done it yet..). a delayed one would be appreciated as well, wouldn't it?

I would also give a try to Tele 2. There are many special offers. I've heard that some people had troubles with Tele 2 and Infostrada (many more with Infostrada). Anyway Tele2 is cheaper that Telecom. it can also give you adsl access.  good luck!

There is no better town where to learn art in Italy than Florence, the place where Renaissance was born and developed! There are so many museums and monument where you can enrich your culture! I also suggest to visit Siena (just 1:30 minutes from Florence). In Florence there are also Universities for Fashion studies. I'm not sure if you are going to attend DAMS (which is also based in Bologna) ...so you are going to live in Florence, a wonderful town, cosmopolitan atmosphere, artistic resources... I strongly wish I was there !!!

Hi Berry, I think you should hold a Patente C (C licence), which allows you to drive vehicles over 3,5q and to transport goods - since Patente B is valid for vehicles till 3,5 q. I also know that your licence is valid in Italy if you come from a country that is part of EU, but it would be better to go at "Motorizzazione Civile" (should be the DMV, Department of Motor Vehicles) closest to you, just to be sure you don't need to translate it. You can find more info on this website: http://www.patente.it/ecom.dll/noAjax?idc=985 It's in Italian only so if you need any further clarifications don't hesitate to ask for.;) bye Valentina
