Yes there is still plenty of snow here in Southern Marche. We are in Montefalcone which is 758 m asl, and there isn't much sign of it melting either.

snow ...still lots.....it has almost been a disaster here in italy....questions asked in parliament ....why did motorists spend three days trapped in their cars on the regio calabria motorway.....
here in abruzzo in the province of teramo we had 1 and a half metres at 450 m the gran sasso had a lot more....skiing is good....the world championships...being held in italy had problem and had to make artificial stuff...we could have given them a metre or two....it still hasn t melted ...we are waiting for the wind to change and temperatures to get back up to normal....
her in abruzzo despite the quantity the roads remained open...locally...the a 14 at pescara was closed for a couple of hours one day....but then they are geared up for it here
I have a friend staying at my place near Lake Maggiore - there is still plenty of snow on the ski runs on Mottarone.
Look at the snowcam

I'll be going out in mid March - and I expect to do plenty of tobogganing whilst I'm there
