Michela de Paoli has become a household name in Italy. The 43-year-old stay-at-home-mom became the third person to ever win the full € 1 million prize on the Italian version of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire.”

When Michela first appeared on the show, she was full-time mom, but not by choice. She explained that she was looking for work but was unable to find employment. She soon won over Italian audiences with her sweet shyness and obvious intelligence. Between answering the questions that would soon lead to her winning the grand prize, Michela explained that she would like to find a job because she truly wanted to contribute more to society.

Now, instead of using her €1 million to retire and never work again, Michela has used her newfound celebrity to land a job. The former housewife is currently working as a secretary at a doctor's office.
