Just enjoyed a lovely bass cooked on the BBQ.  Not being very scientifically minded, if I was to bury the remains, head, bones and tail and plant something on top would it rot down and become what we know as blood, fish and bone ???  Thoughts appreciated as was not intending venturing out in car to rubbish wheely bin for a few days and smell not very nice.....Know would have to dig a deep hole but do that in autumn anyway for kitchen waste -makes good been trench when lined with wet newspaper.

This is my first post and I seeking information on geothermal / alternative energy.

A while ago I read a few posts here regarding the use of geothermal heating systems in Italy and believe someone around Amandola is an expert, or possilbly runs a business? I cannot remember who it was and I do not know how to find the posts again.

My question is, can a geothermal system be installed in an existing house or is it only applicable for new builds or complete restoration projects?

Summer is ending, (L'estate sta finendo) and I wonder how many of you have spent his/her holidays in Italy..

Personally, I just went to Gioiosa Marea (Messina province) for a week-end and explored the coast of the Syracuse province, the beach of San Lorenzo was great!

I am new to this forum but have been going to Le marches all my life.  I have some experience with my property over the last ten years and have built apartments at Borgo Della Nave in Campofilone, near Porto San Giorgio. 

I hope to be able to contribute this experience to other forum members and also draw on experiences that you have.

Has anybody had their pet Passported, our cat has now had all the necessary blood tests / vaccines and has been micro-chipped.  We have all the relevant paperwork from our vets and now need to take it to Tolentino for the official passport to be issued.  Has anyone done this?  If so, is there another change for the Passport on top of those already paid to the vet.  Many thanks.
