I know this problem has been mentioned in an earlier post, but it has just reared its ugly head again. When we changed the registration of the Citroen from UK to Italian, despite there being a tow bar fitted, it was not noted on the registration.

Anyone know how to ask for the skin to be left on a pork roast, so that you can get the crackling?? Just had a beautiful loin roast from the butcher, but they cut all the skin off before it is on display, so no nice crunchy bits when roasted.

For those of you, who walk dogs around the San Ruffino tracks. There is an Italian Woman who sometimes has been seen there with an Alsatian, quite often not on a lead.

Stalk & clean 1lb of sloes, prick all over with a darning needle and put in a bottling jar. Add 3-4oz of granulated sugar + a few drops of almond essence or a little Noyeau liqueur.

Anyone have a Canon printer that uses the BCI 24C colour cartridges? I have 5 unused compatible cartridges, as now have a Epson printer. Free to a good home, as against throwing them in the bin!!

Is there a function so that we can insert a PDF or Word document into a post? I have some information for the Energy certificate topic, but cannot see any way to insert it without copying and pasting( PDF of about 7 pages).

The last few weeks, have been walking the dog past the above park area in the evenings. The picnic/viewing area is virtually overgrown, with only the first few metres of grass having been cut, empty plastic bottles strewn around the bins etc.

Sebastiano. May have been one of the ones that escaped the "Parco di Cervi" some time ago, as none have been seen there since. About time the signs to it were taken away!!

Thanks for the kind messages from you all. It is always sad to see a animal pass away, even a wild one.

On Sunday the hare was its usual bouncy self, so we put in the outside run. When we checked on it later in the afternoon after bringing it back inside, it was on its side and having spasms. Called the vet and went to the surgery, where it was given a antibiotic, a anti inflammatory, plus a x-ray. She thought it may have got meningitis. Anyway brought it back home, but unfortunately it died a few hours later. So sad as it was so affectionate.

You should be able to get them at this place. Arca di Noe. It's at Piane di Montegiorgio and does all sorts of pet supplies. Website is www.arcadinoepet.it. Location is at the back of a small shopping precinct just before the roundabout. Follow the road at the side of the precinct and at the end it is directly opposite the junction.

Try the Opel garage, just out of Amandola on the Fermo road, he normally gives good prices, have used him the most times. The other place is on the industrial estate as you leave Amandola on the Communanza road, take the first right and go to the end and it is on the r/h side

Would ignore Sebastiano's comments about German food. They have some excellent food and decent portions. We always used to travel via Germany and Austria and over the Brenner Pass.
