My wife are considering going to Sardinia this September. We know nothing about the island. I.e. what part of the island to go to. We'd like to stay in a nice 4-5 star hotel that's right on the ocean, with a beautiful beach. Any advise would greatly be appeciated.
Bari Sardo (Sardinia)
Bari Sardo is a town in the Province of Nuoro, in the Italian region Sardinia. It is one of the Ogliastra’s most important towns lies just a few kilometres from the eastern coast of central Sardinia and is known for its history, religious devotion, archaeological remains and gorgeous scenery, home to some of the coast’s gems. The symbol of Bari Sardo is the torre di Barì, about 13 metres high with a base that measures 11 metres in diameter and controls the 15 kilometres of shoreline between Bella Vista and Sferracavallo. South of the beach of Torre di Barì is the quiet beach of sa Marina Tramalitza, with beige sand and crystalline water with a soft green hue.
