Piazza degli Eroi and the Castello Aragonese in Otranto
Otranto is a town in the province of Lecce, Puglia. It is located on the east coast of the Salento peninsula.
The Strait of Otranto, to which the city gives its name, connects the Adriatic Sea with the Ionian Sea and separates Italy from Albania. The harbour is small and has little trade.
Italy's magic has been shifting over the last five years. While the Tuscan charm still attracts large volumes of tourists, slowly and steadily, the welcoming southern Italian hospitality is drawing more and more visitors to its region.
We are in the process of purchasing a 3 cone Trullo in Puglia, which needs extensive restoration. Total internal floor area is circa 60sqm. I have read alot about the process involves, re "geometra" and skilled builders.
