Peschici is a town in the province of Foggia in the Apulia region of southeast Italy. Famous for its seaside resorts, its territory belongs to the Gargano National Park and to the Gargano Mountain Community.
Peschici is situated on the north-eastern coast of Gargano promontory, 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) east of San Menaio, 14 kilometers (8.7 mi) from Rodi Garganico, and 19 kilometers (12 mi) west of Vieste. The town sits over a karst spur facing the sea, with a height of more than 100 meters (330 ft); the territory features a number of coastal watch towers. Flora includes sectors of Mediterranean shrubland and, in the inner areas, Aleppo pines.
Italy's magic has been shifting over the last five years. While the Tuscan charm still attracts large volumes of tourists, slowly and steadily, the welcoming southern Italian hospitality is drawing more and more visitors to its region.
We are in the process of purchasing a 3 cone Trullo in Puglia, which needs extensive restoration. Total internal floor area is circa 60sqm. I have read alot about the process involves, re "geometra" and skilled builders.
