Hi! This may be a strange question but I am looking for art classes or workshops in Italy specifically in the Catania or Palermo area of Sicily. I will be staying there for the month of January and I've had a hard time finding any schools that offer more short term classes or workshops.
Stromboli (Sicily)
Stromboli is a small island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the north coast of Sicily, containing one of the three active volcanoes in Italy. It is one of the eight Aeolian Islands, a volcanic arc north of Sicily. This name is derived from the Ancient Greek name "Strongulē" which was given to it because of its round swelling form.
The volcano has erupted many times and is constantly active with minor eruptions, often visible from many points on the island and from the surrounding sea, giving rise to the island's nickname "Lighthouse of the Mediterranean". Stromboli stands 926 m (3,034 ft) above sea level, and over 2,700 m (8,860 ft) on average above the sea floor. The two villages San Bartolo and San Vincenzo lie in the northeast while the smaller village Ginostra lies in the southwest.

Hello everyone- I have just purchased my first home in Modica but it is completely unfurnished. Kitchen needs to be installed, furniture and appliances, etc. would anyone have a recommendation for an English speaking interior decorator?

I have a house in Sicily which I inherited from my parents and it is need of some work. When I contacted a contractor for a quotation I was given a price but told that there are government grants available which would pay 60/70% of the repairs.
