Bellagio (Lombardy)

Bellagio is a town in the Province of Como in the Italian region of Lombardy. It is located on Lake Como. Bellagio is situated upon the cape of the land mass that divides Lake Como in two. The city centre occupies the tip of the promontory, while other districts are scattered along the lake shores and up the slopes of the hills. Along the banks of the promontory of Bellagio are many old patrician houses, each surrounded by parks and gardens of trees. Some like Villa Serbelloni and Villa Melzi d'Esti are open to the public.

Recipes From Lombardy

In this savory autumnal recipe, Mantova’s traditional tortelli di zucca filling of roasted pumpkin, cheese and spices is used instead as a free-form pasta sauce.

A yeasty roll, filled with just the right amount of vanilla pastry cream, this not-too-sweet brioche is a classic Italian breakfast treat.

A classic veal chop Milano style!

What others are saying about Lombardy

Hi All,

I have a disused gas meter box in the house wall and I have to set a water meter in the wall for a new connection. Can I remove the gas meter box and use the hole to fit the water meter box to save getting a builder/having another unsightly box?
