San Marco Argentano (Calabria)

The Cathedral

San Marco Argentano is a town in the province of Cosenza, in the Calabria region of southern Italy. Main sights include the cathedral, the Norman tower, several churches and the ruins of an abbey, Santa Maria della Matina. The town presents an important Norman crypt-fortification, and other testimonies of the period such as the abbey of Matina and Torre del Guiscardo.
