Panicale (Umbria)

Panicale is an ancient medieval town in the province of Perugia, in Italy. Located on the eastern slope of Mount Petrarvella, in the southeast of Valdichiana, it overlooks Lake Trasimeno and it is about 35 km far from Perugia. In the heart of the historical center, in Piazza Umberto I, there is a fountain whose construction in travertine dates back to 1473, and was the ancient cistern of the country which also extended under the piazza. Certainly deserve a visit the Collegiate Church of San Michele Arcangelo, the Castle of Montalera and the Museum of the Tulle, entitled to Anita Belleschi Grifoni.

What others are saying about Umbria

Can anyone help please? I purchased a small apartment in Umbria in October 2018. In 2019 I engaged the services of a local tradesman to clearout my basement which was kneedeep in rubble from the previous owner.

Buongiorno tutti.  We have owned a home in Ficulle for about 5 years.  Our caretaker and his wife have recently told us they will no longer be able to care for our home.  So we are in need of help to clean, care for our 80 vines, 30 very young olive trees, take care of the lawn, plants welcome gu
